Dr Kai Wei Low

Dr. Kai Wei is a graduate from the University of Otago with a double degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Nutrition. Where ever possible, she enjoys incorporating her knowledge from both degrees into achieving holistic outcomes for her patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. She is multilingual and able to converse fluently in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay/Indonesian, on top of English. Kai Wei is known for her warm and friendly nature, where many patients have commented on her approachability as their dentist. When Kai Wei’s not treating teeth, you will find her up on the mountain snowboarding, playing badminton or spending time with her family and friends.

Ivan recently joined the Tooth Group and has already become an integral part of the team. After graduating from Otago University with a BDS, he spent many years practicing in Oamaru. Ivan has a friendly personality and easy-going nature making him favoured among patients. Ivan enjoys practicing a broad range of dentistry and techniques. In his spare time he enjoys playing music and spending time with his family and friends. He is also fluent in Mandarin and Malay.


Dental Hygienist / Therapist

Brooke is a dual qualified and registered dental hygienist and dental therapist who graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Oral Health. For the past five years Brooke has been gaining exceptional experience working in some of New Zealand’s and Australia’s top practices. Brooke specialises in non-surgical gum treatment, disease prevention, whitening and dentistry for 0-18 year olds. When Brooke’s not treating teeth you will find her at Lake Tarawera, snowboarding or spending time with family and friends.

Josh graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2013. Over the next few years in practice, he developed and refined a wide range of skills in many aspects of dentistry. As a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, the New Zealand Institute of Minimal Intervention Dentistry, and a member of the World Clinical Laser Institute, he has a particular interest in utilising the newest technologies and techniques available. Josh regularly attends extra courses to keep up to date with what is at the forefront of dentistry.
